Bridging groups stems from cultivating a welcoming environment first, and deepened appreciation comes from mediating conversations and encouraging stories. This club strives to promote a variety of worldviews, specifically in regard to Asian-American culture, acting as a reminder that every voice is valid in the conversation. It seeks to educate and advocate, as well as foster engagement between worlds.

The Counseling Center is committed to providing high-quality, confidential, ethical and culturally affirming mental health services to Whitworth University students. The center offers group counseling, short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services. We are responsive to the developmental, cultural and demographic diversity of our students as they pursue their college education. As a department within the division of student life, the counseling center also provides consultation, training and outreach to the Whitworth community regarding mental health concerns.
